Application Fee

• For Paper-I
• For General, OBC : ₹1000/-
• For SC, ST, PWD : ₹500/-
• For Both Paper
• For General, OBC : ₹1200/-
• For SC, ST, PWD : ₹600/-
• Pay the Online Examination Fee through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking Mode.

CTET February 2026 : Age Limit

• Minimum Age : 17 Years
• Maximum Age : No Age Limit

• The validity of the CTET qualifying certificate is now lifetime for candidates of all categories.
• There is no limit on the number of attempts a candidate can take to obtain the CTET certificate.
  Additionally, a candidate who has already qualified CTET is allowed to reappear in the exam to improve their score.

CTET February 2026 : Eligibility (CTET) February 2025

Primary Stage (Class I to V)

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks
  AND passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks
  AND passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education,
  as per NCTE 2002 norms.

OR

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks
  AND passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks
  AND passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

• Graduation
  AND passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

• Graduation with at least 50% marks
  AND completed B.Ed (Bachelor of Education).

Secondary Stage (Class VI to VIII)

• Bachelor’s Degree
  AND passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any recognized name).

OR

• Graduation with at least 50% marks
  AND passed or appearing in a 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).

OR

• Graduation with at least 45% marks
  AND passed or appearing in a 1-year B.Ed. program,
  in accordance with NCTE regulations.

OR

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 50% marks
  AND passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).

OR

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 50% marks
  AND passed or appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. program.

OR

• Graduation with at least 50% marks
  AND passed or appearing in a 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) program.
