Brief Information: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test CTET January 2024 examination, candidates who are interested in this examination and meet the eligibility can apply online from 03 November 2023 to 27 November 2023. ctet primary level (class i to v) eligibility with code

  1. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed and studying in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  2. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 Norms OR
  3. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
  4. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)

ctet junior level (class vi to viii) eligibility with code

  1.  Have passed or appearing in final year of Graduate Degree and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OrAt least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and passed or appearing in final year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).  OR
  2. Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Norms OR
  3. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
  4. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR
  5. Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education)
  6.  any candidate having the b.ed. have the qualification. programs recognized by ncte are eligible to appear in tet/ctet. further, as per the existing tet guidelines circulated by ncte vide letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any teacher education course (recognized by ncte or rci, as the case may be) specified in the ncte notification is. dated 23 august 2010 is also eligible to appear in tet/ctet. or
  7. Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in final year of three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
